I am a lifelong Oakland resident with almost 20 years of experience in the classroom. I graduated from York College of Pennsylvania with a BA in Humanities and minor in Psychology, then went on to complete Ramapo College’s Teacher Certification Program. I have taught at The Academy of the Most Blessed Sacrament for 6 years.
After staying home to raise my daughter for a few years, I reentered the education field as a teaching assistant with the Ridgewood Public Schools where I assisted in a first grade classroom and taught small-group lessons in the Resource Center. During this time I was also a catechist at OLPH in Oakland and realized I enjoyed faith based teaching. When a primary position opened up at AMBS I thought it was the perfect fit!
