I am thrilled to be part of such a wonderful community of educators and learners. This year will be an exciting adventure in the worlds of technology and media. The learners will be learning a variety of things, such as internet safety, various software that enhances their education, book tastings and trailers, and independent reading time.
Professionally, I have an eclectic background because it took me a long time to figure out what I wanted to be when I grew up. I am an educator, attorney, librarian, and mother. I received my BS in Theoretical Mathematics at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, my JD at Touro Law School, and my MLIS at University of Central Missouri. After working on Wall Street for many years as an Institutional Sales Trader, I returned to law as a Partner focusing on veteran's disability law. After a life change, I returned back to school to be an educator focusing on Media and Technology. As I mentioned, it took me a very long time to finally figure out what I want to be and am happiest when I am teaching our future world leaders.
