¡Hola! Me llamo Señora Borghi, and I am very excited to be back for my eighth year teaching Spanish to the middle school students!!

Students are expected to learn the Hail Mary, The Our Father, and Glory be in Spanish and recite one prayer at the beginning of each class. Students will have a written and oral exam at the end of each trimester.
Parents are expected to check their child/children's Power School each week to see how they are progressing.
is 10% of the grade and is expected to always be completed on time.
Is 10% of the grade and requires students to be on time to class, be prepared for class with all materials such as a notebook, folder, pen/pencil, assignment pad, and a Spanish English dictionary. Participation also involves raising your hand to speak, trying your best, and engaging in group conversations. Participation is graded on a scale from 0-10 and is recorded for each student every class we meet.
As middle school students, misbehaving is not tolerated at all!
Tests are 50% of the trimester grade
Quizzes are 30% of the trimester grade
Grades lower than an 90% should be taken home, signed by a parent, and returned to school the following day.
We will do many projects and students are expected to work nicely together, help one another, and stay on task. Students who argue and fight within a group with lose participation points for that day. Project grades will be graded as a Test OR Quiz depending on the Project.
